Winnipeg based artist drinkbleachh has finally dropped his debut mixtape after months of snippets and singles. Mixtape 1 shows off bleachh’s skills in both lyricism and melody, crafting detailed pictures with his words and selling them with hard hitting, emotionally engaging melodies.

The tracklist is extremely impressive, as bleachh flexes his punk roots by self producing every single track and using no samples. It’s just pure synthesised, wavy angst.  He also keeps features to a minimum, but the ones that do appear knock it out of the park. Fellow Winnipeg artist Thatcher Robin$on makes an appearance on the track Demons with a laid back flow and impressive rhyme scheme that fits the moody, dark instrumental perfectly. Mysterious spoken word artist closes the project out on Stressed Out with a piece of poetry that will absolutely gut anyone going through tough times with a loved one; pure emotion is on display backed by nothing by bleachh’s beautiful guitar melody.

The Winnipeg rap scene has birthed another rare talent. Impressive melodies coupled with an emotional intelligence rarely seen in emo/goth-rap makes it clear that bleachh is here to stay, and we at datpizz couldn’t be more excited to hear what he has coming next.
