Th0der Discography

Th0der is a 18 year old producer coming to us out of Calgary. Th0der uses a sound that bounces between being either very synthetic or very authentic, even using real instruments for his recordings. Although he is often categorized at cloud rap or trap, most of his beats are his own style that is quite new. Th0der claims that music is the only thing he is passionate about, getting bored with pretty much everything else in life. He also wants to use his beats to help some of his favorite artists get their dream collabs, a noble mission indeed. Taking influence from Yung Lean, Kendrick Lamar, Tyler the Creator, Denzel Curry, A$AP Mob & Gravity Boys, he also notes that he was originally moved to make music through the sounds of Pink Floyd. Really his goal is to reach the heights of DJ Khaled someday, collaborating some of the greats of the underground that still haven’t worked together.

BBY GOYARD – Chasing Amy (DatPizz Exclusive)

Today DatPizz is proud to begin our Fall Single Series. We’re going to drop a single every week featuring some of the greatest talent of the underground right now, along with continuing to bring you the greatest of discographies to keep you up to date on your favorite artists. Each song will be exclusive to the site  and will feature some amazing artwork from the one and only NIPZ. To kick off our program we have the wonderful song “Chasing Amy”.  Opening on a wonderful synth intro to set the mood, JCAM and JJB3ATZ offer up a beat that maintains its trap roots while still keeping a happy, upbeat vibe. Not many artists would know what to do with a beat like this, but BBY GOYARD quickly demonstrates that he’s the perfect man for the job. Using a bit of a stream-of-consciousness lyric style, GOYARD addresses the troubles of dating and the seeming flip-flop of odds for many eligible bachelors. All-in-all, this track is the perfect one to launch our series, so we hope you give it a listen or two and stick with us while we help provide you with the sounds of SoundCloud.

La Lune Discography

La Lune is an 18 year old rapper from Montreal, Quebec. As a self described “French boy that is blindly focused on a world that only exists in his head”, Lune brings us a melodic and sad sound that expresses how he feels inside, an emotion between joy and melancholy. Lune makes music because he loves how sounds can come together and loves to make tunes for certain moods when he can’t find a preexisting song for it. Heavily influenced by Yung Lean, Lune also draws inspiration from Lil Yachty and a Canadian singer named Catherine Leduc. Lune just released his EP ‘3017’ and feels like it’s the sound he’s been looking for for years, so give it a listen if you have some time.

Zippo Hebs Discography

Zippo Hebs is a 22 year old rapper from Michigan. Zippo Hebs describes his music is progressive or experimental, experimenting with mixing hip-hop, acoustics and ambient music. He calls it WYZTERIA. Zippo uses music as a purpose to try new things, and believes that using it he can express his version of reality to others. Originally inspired by Green Day, Zipp took his tactics from Metro Zu, his dream pursuit from Jeff Rosenstock and his patience and positivity from Nat King Cole. Really, Zippo just wants to be a giver not a taker during his time on Earth. He’d love to be a farmer, to build a castle someday. For right now though, music seems like a good thing for him.

Young Mane – I Don’t Really Care (prod. Trapphones)

As most of you know, Young Mane is one of our current favorite artists here at DatPizz. With his recent track “I Don’t Really Care”, he definitely maintains that status. Flowing over an incredibly synthy beat by Trapphones, Mane rips a girl’s heart apart by explaining how he doesn’t care if she loves him or not because he’s pretty cool being himself. Taking a verse to remind us that he has plenty of Gucci on his person at all time, Mane manages to ride the line between goofy and dope in a way that keeps you listening for a while, so give the track a spin if you get a chance. You won’t regret giving him a chance.

SeKwence Discography

SeKwence is a 25 year old rapper from Centre, Alabama. Sekwence describes his music as “cigarette basement coffee weed rap”, which is probably the best description possible for the types of sounds he uses. As a member of the Soulless Gang, Sekwence makes music basically just because of his absolute love for it. He feels like he has a lot to say and has been into music since he was young, when he’d try to hide parental advisory stickers from his mom. Sekwence takes influence from basically all corners of music, from the typical Lil Wayne and Earl Sweatshirt all the way to Bob Dylan and Janis Joplin, Sekwence tries to mix up his sound and keep it unpredictable. He still has three more EPs on the way this year, along with a plethora of projects working with others in the Soulless Gang. He sends his shoutouts to the entire Soulless Gang, his AK47BLVD brothers and his girl Kia, for always being by his side.
