Hellfiger & RIP Eternal – Nothing Lasts Forever (DatPizz Exclusive)

DatPizz is back with week two in our Fall Single Series. This week we have a wonderful trap beat laid out by our friend trapphones, over which Hellfiger and RIP Eternal lay out some vocals worthy only of the best. Titled “Nothing Lasts Forever”, this song is an anthem to lost relationships and broken hearts. The two vocalists reminisce over love’s labor’s lost and remind themselves that relationships don’t last forever, so they probably shouldn’t get too attached. Talking about such sentimental things while still going hard over the beat, this is the perfect track for really any moment in life. Give it a listen and see what kind of feels you bring back from it.

Wevor Trill Discography

Wevor Trill is a 22 year old producer based in the Bay Area. Wevor works hard to bring listeners forward thinking bass music, emphasizing the use of poly-rhythmic trap percussion, real world Foley, and a unification of melancholy and joy to produce a sound that’s all his. Wevor aims to demonstrate his ideas and emotions in a form that his listeners and followers can connect to, and it’s not hard to see that he is quite effective in doing that. Taking inspiration from sources as vast as Charlie Parker or as close as Tyler, the Creator, Wevor just wants to set himself apart in this saturated industry as an artist that creates for the future, true to himself and his vision. He’s amassed over a million plays on Spotify with under ten releases, so he is clearly someone to watch. Keep an eye on this producer and the music label that he helps run, Daruma for some dope music in the future.

emotionull Discography

emotionull is a 19 year old artist based in Phoenix. Originally from Long Beach, null grew up on a lot of alternative, punk and rock music. As such, he makes what he considers a mix of alternative and hip-hop now, not really what he would consider rap. Feeling like he has trouble expressing emotions and relating to others, null uses his music as a way to connect with others and something to keep him from doing stupid things that would mess up his life. He hopes that people who can relate to those issues will find refuge in his music, knowing there are others like themselves. null draws inspiration from some of our favorite artists on DatPizz Lil B, Slug Christ, Wicca Phase, Horse Head and plenty of punk/alternative groups, leading to quite a varied sound in his music. null doesn’t really sound like anything else on the site now, so give him a try and see what you think of this new sound direction.

Th0der Discography

Th0der is a 18 year old producer coming to us out of Calgary. Th0der uses a sound that bounces between being either very synthetic or very authentic, even using real instruments for his recordings. Although he is often categorized at cloud rap or trap, most of his beats are his own style that is quite new. Th0der claims that music is the only thing he is passionate about, getting bored with pretty much everything else in life. He also wants to use his beats to help some of his favorite artists get their dream collabs, a noble mission indeed. Taking influence from Yung Lean, Kendrick Lamar, Tyler the Creator, Denzel Curry, A$AP Mob & Gravity Boys, he also notes that he was originally moved to make music through the sounds of Pink Floyd. Really his goal is to reach the heights of DJ Khaled someday, collaborating some of the greats of the underground that still haven’t worked together.

Not many artists would know what to do with a beat like this, but BBY GOYARD quickly demonstrates that he’s the perfect man for the job. Using a bit of a stream-of-consciousness lyric style, GOYARD addresses the troubles of dating and the seeming flip-flop of odds for many eligible bachelors. Heavily influenced by Yung Lean, Lune also draws inspiration from Lil Yachty and a Canadian singer named Catherine Leduc. Lune just released his EP ‘3017’ and feels like it’s the sound he’s been looking for for years, so give it a listen if you have some time.

Young Mane – I Don’t Really Care (prod. Trapphones)

As most of you know, Young Mane is one of our current favorite artists here at DatPizz. With his recent track “I Don’t Really Care”, he definitely maintains that status. Flowing over an incredibly synthy beat by Trapphones, Mane rips a girl’s heart apart by explaining how he doesn’t care if she loves him or not because he’s pretty cool being himself. Taking a verse to remind us that he has plenty of Gucci on his person at all time, Mane manages to ride the line between goofy and dope in a way that keeps you listening for a while, so give the track a spin if you get a chance. You won’t regret giving him a chance.
